2. Application: This product is mainly used as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant in the plastics industry, with advantages such as high temperature resistance and ease of use. Hydroxy tin zinc stannate have the same flame retardant performance. The scope of application mainly depends on the processing temperature of the polymer: hydroxy tin zinc stannate is only suitable for materials processed at temperatures below 180°C to 230°C, while tin zinc stannate can be used in any polymer, with an oxygen index of up to 36 or above.
It acts as a flame retardant in the processing and molding of PU (polyurethane) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) products, and is an ideal environmentally friendly alternative to toxic antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃), capable of replacing halogen-based products. Currently, it is generally used in plastic products and high-end plastic products.
